Find your future with us.Boeing has an opening for a Test and Integration Engineer (Level 3) in the Puget Sound area in support of Space & Launch programs. This position works with an interdisciplinary team to develop and execute integrated test plans for space platforms. This position requires application of skills and experience to leverage standards, best practices, and established processes to adapt and create specific processes and methods for a specific platform. This position will closely coordinate with hardware suppliers, systems engineering and customers to ensure testing requirements are identified, incorporated into the design, generate and coordinate necessary test facility requirements, conduct complex subsystem and integrated tests, and process and archive test data. This position requires excellent teamwork and written/oral communications skills to effectively collaborate with various engineering disciplines, suppliers and customers. The position requires sound technical judgment and problem solving skills to generate innovative testing solutions and to adapt to failures and issues.Work locations will include sites that are within 10 miles of Tukwila, WA.Position Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with other engineering disciplines in an integrated team environment to develop a comprehensive test plans and procedures
  • Coordinate with customers and suppliers to ensure testing compliance and test flow, from components to integrated space vehicle assembly
  • Coordinate a team of test engineers in the development of methods, processes and test plans
  • Define vehicle configuration requirements for test per test phase
  • Define test facilities and floor space requirements
  • Contribute to preparation and execution of the program Test Readiness Review (TRR)
  • Execute integrated product tests and perform data reduction
  • May lead or coordinate resolution of test issues
This position requires an active Top Secret U.S. Security Clearance, for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active.)Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
  • Bachelor's, Master's or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry.
  • Minimum of five (5) years experience with testing and/or verification on large complex systems
  • An active Top Secret U.S. Security Clearance is required pre-start
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
  • On-console experience conducting testing of complex aerospace systems
  • Experience conducting test and evaluation of spacecraft platforms
  • Technical experience in spacecraft subsystems and systems
  • Experience with electrical or mechanical systems
  • Experience on rapid development programs
  • Experience in successfully delivering flight hardware to customer
  • Experience with environmental testing
Typical Education & ExperienceDegree and typical experience in engineering classification: Bachelor's and 5 or more years' experience, Master's degree with 3 or more years' experience or PhD degree with experience. Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry.
