Delivery Associate Job Description

Delivery Associate Job Responsibilities:

Delivers Amazon products to our customers in a safe, courteous, and timely manner.

Establishes and maintains outstanding relations with customers.

Reviews and verifies delivery labels to ensure accuracy.

Inspects delivery vehicles to ensure safety of vehicle operation.

Ensures the safety and security of the loading and unloading process, organizes packages for delivery by following route planning application (Rabbit).

Contacts customers to confirm delivery details.

Determines placement of merchandise, follows Amazon safety and lifting protocols during deliveries, and conducts safety reviews.

Maintains electronic delivery logs and records.

Meets or exceeds the timeliness of delivery metrics as established by Amazon.

Paid Time Off (PTO) is available after the first pay cycle. (See Employee Handbook for details). Health Insurance Benefits are offered. Competitive starting pay is tendered at $15.50 per hour. Overtime may be available. Flexible schedule may be available.

Delivery Associate Qualifications / Skills:

Excellent communication and organizational skills

Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities

Familiarity with local streets, neighborhoods, and routes

Highly responsible & reliable

Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment

Ability to work cohesively as part of a team

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

Ability to enter and exit delivery vehicle while moving at a fast pace to deliver packages hundreds of times per day

Ability to operate a delivery van safely and in accordance with State law, Tenet Delivery, LLC policy, procedure, and Amazon requirements

Delivery Associate Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:

High school diploma, GED, equivalent, or work experience

Valid driver’s license

Familiarity with android and or Apple equipment preferred

Minimum of 21 years of age

Ability to pass a five-panel drug screen
