What you will be doing:

Work as part of the energy efficiency team ensuring that the implementation of client sponsored energy efficiency retrofit projects are successfully executed

Develop and maintain relationships with assigned market partners, primarily property owners, property management firms and contracting trades , throughout the territory

Meet with key decision makers responsible for making facility upgrades to large multifamily properties to drive program participation

Manage day to day activity and schedules to ensure maximum value is provided to the clients

Provide administrative and marketing assistance to program staff, including but not limited to: scheduling and participating in industry events, trade shows, apartment owner association meetings to educate and inform stakeholders about available energy efficiency support resources

Communicate to both technical trade allies and non-technical audiences.

Conduct and help facilitate market partner training on programmatic and technical best practices

Contribute to the evolution of program strategies and the design of program features, services, and marketing campaigns

Manage assigned accounts in CRM database and maintain accurate tracking and forecasting of project construction status

Prepare status reports to accurately describe activities in the field and to monitor progress towards program goals on customer/ contractor participation and the completion of eligible projects

Coordinate with or follow up on program Quality Assurance activities as appropriate

Travel by car throughout the assigned geography

What we need you to have (minimum qualifications):

Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of work experience

Or

5+ years of work experience

Familiarity with CRM systems such as Salesforce

Valid driver’s license and ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Records (MVR) check

What we would like you to have:

Demonstrated experience in building and maintaining professional relationships

Knowledge of energy efficiency and California policies governing multifamily and small commercial energy programs

Knowledge of common e lectric and gas equipment used in the multifamily sector including hot water boilers, HVAC systems, interior/exterior lighting, pool pumps/boiler, etc.

Effective communication skills with the ability to guide and influence customers to opt for cost-effective energy efficiency solutions
