DENTAL ASSISTANT- FULL TIME (UP TO $1,000 SIGN-ON BONUS) (Madison)

Smart Dental (Madison, WI) is looking for a Dental Assistant to join our team! This is a full-time position but part-time applicants are invited to apply. $1000 starting Bonus for full-time hire.

We are looking for highly-motivated, professional, punctual, organized, patient-friendly and out-going candidates.

During the Covid-19 Pandemic, our office has prioritized team and patient safety with enhanced PPE, enhanced infection-control strategies, reduced appointments plus many other measures.

QUALIFIED APPLICANTS must have completed a dental assisting program and/or have one or more years of dental assisting experience. New graduates are welcome to apply. In addition to a strong knowledge of dentistry, candidates must have outstanding customer service skills and time management skills. Qualified applicants must be able to effectively communicate with patients, doctor and other team members.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE

chair-side dental assisting

taking and processing dental x-rays

fabricating temporary crowns

room turn over & sterilization

impeccable infection-control

maintaining inventory & keeping treatment rooms organized and stocked

basic administrative functions (scheduling appointments, processing payments, helping hygiene program, confirming patients, filing charts)

ensuring patient comfort

providing post-operative instructions

making and pouring preliminary impressions for study models

managing lab cases

assisting with dental hygiene department as needed

office cleaning and housekeeping
