  • The Project Coordinator is responsible for supporting multiple Engineering Techs. They will assist in the coordination, Tracking and management of project As-Builts. In addition to managing assigned project tasks, this position will provide administrative support to program leadership. Generally, supports the Engineering Techs in day-to-day operations. Support, facilitate and coordinate the work of multiple project teams and Engineering Techs
  • Serve as primary point of contact with field crews, construction supervisors, and engineering techs as deemed needed by the Manager of Engineering Support
  • Develop and manage project timelines and task lists, monitor any risks or opportunities
  • Work closely with leadership to keep them informed of upcoming commitments and responsibilities
  • Follow up on client and leadership needs appropriately. Have a sense for risks and issues occurring and keeping project managers updated
  • Determine appropriate course of action or response for incoming issues and risks
  • Create reports and presentations in Microsoft Word, Excel, Visio and PowerPoint
  • Put together necessary forms and spreadsheets including project minutes and agendas
  • Schedule, coordinate and prepare materials for business meetings, conference calls, etc.
  • Manage and edit documents as requested such as red-line drawings, project items, and various reports.
  • Bachelor’s Degree and or at least High School Diploma or Equivalent + 2 years Project Management/Coordination experience.
  • Previous experience in an organization responsible for major projects throughout the entire lifecycle from initiation through closure
  • Attention to detail, multitasking skills, and timely follow-through in executing responsibilities
  • Attitude and aptitude to learn
  • Flexible team player able to work independently with minimal guidance
  • Comfortable fielding phone calls and emails; professional demeanor
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in MS Office tools especially Word and Excel.
Additional Informationscheduled working hours are typically monday through friday position from 8a – 5p (some flexibility) local candidate preferred (topeka or wichita). there could be opportunity for flexible work arrangements (in-person + remote). manager will determine working requirements once trained.
