Server Engineer Technician

We are currently seeking a Server Engineer to be engaged on site at a major retail store in (Laredo, TX 78045).

Job Description

Position: Server Engineer Technician

Flat Rate: $250.00

Start Date: 8/24/2020

Job Description:

Scope of Work: Server installation of (2) PowerEdge R740xd servers per site, and de-installation of legacy equipment

Activities:

Break down, move, and assemble data center hardware including rack & stack, labeling, packaging, connecting, and disconnecting of cables

Perform first level functional connectivity and operability tests

Report standard error signals and codes

Provide smart hands assistance to Dell Engineer for standard troubleshooting

Customer will supply and provide access to all facilities, personnel, parts, instructions, supplies, tools, testers, and technical support required to perform the services

Customer will provide all equipment transportation beyond the building and floor of installed location

Requires ability to consistently lift and move up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications:

Previous Lead Tech experience managing a Team

A+ Certification or any other certifications

3-5 + Years (Strong) server experience

Data Center experience

Able to lift up to 40+ pounds of technical equipment

Follow established guidelines and interpret policies

Techs need to bring:

Laptop

Console cable
