IRB Administrative Assistant I

- Print, sort, and file highly complex study submission approvals. IRO has a backlog of printing to complete and bring the office up to date with regulatory documentation requirements.
- Update Excel log to reflect completed printing of submissions
- Pull and re-file IRB folders and maintain proper organization of file room, including managing any file shifts when necessary, file room maintenance including general filing, tidying, and filling printers and copiers
- Order office supplies
- Answer and route incoming calls
- Distribute incoming mail
- Perform administrative tasks as necessary to support Admin Coordinator, IRB Analysts, IRB Operations Manager, Assistant Director, and Director
- Assist in maintaining IRO's archived files. Process, send, or request IRB files to/from off-site storage
- Serve as back-up to the other Administrative Assistants
- 2 years of college and two years experience in administrative support function
- Attention to detail is paramount
- Must demonstrate organizational and professional communication skills
- Proficient in word processing and previous experience with MS office programs (MS Word, Access, Excel, Outlook) required
- Ability to lift 25 pounds
