PCA- Personal Care Assistant Caregiver- Companion (Monticello and Surrounding areas)

We are hiring compassionate loving caregivers that are able to care for client in the comfort of the clients home. Clients need us more than ever now to feel safe and secure in their own homes.

Our caregivers work one-on-one with their clients in the client’s home, We want caregivers that can be self starters very proactive. Encourage the client so they can maintain their independence and dignity and allows them to do as they please and not structured like facilities are.

Cash incentives/ bonuses, Referral Program, Paid weekly.

Responsibilities are as follow but not limited to: Provide light housekeeping, run errands, and transport/accompany clients to appointments and assist with medications reminders.

Personal Assistance with general living needs which could include preparing meals, bathing, feeding, toileting, and grooming.

Companionship – Provide companionship and conversation by stimulating, encouraging and assisting an individual. Play games, go for a walk. Play cards, help them exercise. Accompany clients to activities and events within the community such as grocery shopping and other errands. Documenting and communicating with the office as well as the clients POA-family when there is a change in the clients health or demeanor.

Qualifications

High school degree or GED required, along with access to reliable transportation and valid Car insurance and Drivers License. Current TB test, Social Security Card. 1 year or more experience caring for the elderly .Willing to consent to a Criminal Background check and drug screening.

Training will be done at the office and semi annual evaluations. Must be able to work Night shift as well as weekends and day shift, if needed. We are a great company to work for and we appreciate or caregivers. We like to compensate you well. Must have experience with dementia.
