Below are the available positions and the tasks required of each.

Complete Safety Orientation

Performing General Physical Activities Performing physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling of materials. Employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds

Attendance/Punctuality - Is consistently at work and on time; Arrives at meetings and appointments on time

Positive Attitude

Willing to work hard

Basic construction skills (use a hammer, shovel, etc.)

Knowledge of proper use of a tape measure

Dependability - Follows instructions, responds to management direction; Takes responsibility for own actions. Meets commitments; Follows policies and procedures

Observes safety and security procedures; Reports potentially unsafe conditions; Uses equipment and materials properly

Completes job specific training sessions

Keeps jobsite clean and orderly

Laborer 1

Ability to strip walls and sky deck proficiently, including, having the ability to organize and stack correctly

Ability to assist in tie rebar and post tension cables under direction

Assemble and fasten material together to construct wood or metal framework of structure, using bolts, nails, or screws under direction

Basic knowledge of form work systems

Occasionally assists engineers with layout

Knowing where to layout forms properly to setup wall, including where the wall changes thickness.

Ability to check grade using a laser

Ability to sometimes lead other laborers in tasks assigned by crew leader/foreman

Ability to occasionally setup footings, walls, Skydeck, and tilt panels with a carpenter

Completes job specific training

Completes safety training

Completes Fall Protection Training

Definite proficiency over Laborer 1s in completing daily tasks

Laborer 2

-

Cut or saw boards, timbers, or plywood to required size

Erect formwork using hand tools, plumb bob, and level

Install safety or support equipment.

Complete forklift training

The ability to solve mathematical problems quickly and accurately

Ability to layout and install embeds under direction

Ability to layout and install wood sill hold downs

Ability to setup and use a laser to check grades

Ability to lead others in tying rebar and laying out PT cables

OSHA 10 hour

Completes job specific training

Complete safety training

Definite proficiency over Laborer 2s in completing daily tasks

Carpenter 1

Ability to read and understand construction documents

Ability to setup wall, corners, and pilaster with knowledge of the proper fillers to use when the walls change thickness without direction.

Ability to setup brick shelf

Ability to layout and install PT Tendons and chairs

Ability to sometimes lead others in setting up footings, walls, Skydeck, and tilt panels

Ability to layout and install embeds without direction.

Ability to sometimes forms stairs without direction

Ability to install hang forms without direction

Ability to install structural steel anchor bolt sets

Completes job specific training

Complete safety training

Definite proficiency over Carpenter 1s in completing daily tasks

Carpenter 2

Master of Reading blueprints and diagrams to determine dimensions of structure or form to be constructed, as well as, review to determine work requirements.

Competent person who is able to assess situation and properly advise personnel on safely executing task.

Performs toolbox talks

Completes daily reports for crew

Responsible for safety compliance of all crew members

Ability to run a job with minimal direction

Completion of CPR and First Aid Training

Guiding, Directing, and Motivating Field Staff Providing guidance and direction to field staff, including setting performance standards and monitoring performance.

Resolving Conflicts and Negotiating with Others Handling complaints, settling disputes, and resolving grievances and conflicts, or otherwise negotiating with others.

Communicating with Persons Outside Organization Communicating with people outside the organization, representing the organization to customers, and other external sources.

Completes job specific training

OSHA 30

Complete safety training

Definite proficiency over Carpenter 2s in completing daily tasks

Crew Lead
