Duties include;
1) Get quotes for raw materials and outside vendor services.
2) Preparing or editing purchase orders from various departments.
3) Placing orders with suppliers or vendors and ensuring that documentation is in order, with terms and conditions being clear.
4) Maintaining the office filing system and updating appropriate records when required.
5) Interacting with suppliers in case of delay in delivery of supplies, receipt of damaged or incorrect quantity of goods.
6) Answering incoming phone calls.
Knowledge and Skills:
1) Ability to work with computers and software such as Microsoft Office, as well as data processing skills, are valued. QuickBooks experience mandatory.
2) Excellent communication skills.
3) Attention to detail.
Criminal background check required.
