Job Description
We are seeking an Account Manager for a full time/direct hire role. In this remote/telecommuting role, you will be responsible for quoting and managing existing accounts to include:keeping an updated inventory and managing renewal/migration projects with support of sales. Youwill assist with all pre-sales customer communication, keeping presale items tracked in Salesforce to move them along to ordering, contract generation, order document accuracy, and order submission to ensure a timely and successful ordering experience for the customer.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:- Assist with order paperwork to ensure timely install of services for customers
- Submit quote requests to carriers
- Review and organize quotes to be presented to customers or back to sales (Sales to follow up with client, regardless)
- Enter all opportunities into Salesforce
- Facilitate a good experience for contracts and order placement and ensure smooth handoff to Project Manager
- Ensure smooth administration of orders
- Update Salesforce accurately and in a timely manner
- Scrub all order documents prior to order submission
- Submit orders in a timely manner
- Maintain the highest level of data integrity at all times
- Submit all documents in a timely matter and work with a sense of urgency
- Recommend new approaches, policies, and procedures to improve process efficiency
- Responsible for all account management for:
- Proactive renewals/upgrades/migrations
- Project recaps coordinated with Project Manager
- Escalations to sales team if necessary
- Acting as the primary point of contact for all customers
- Special requests from customers
- Provide order status updates within order milestones
Qualifications
- HS Diploma or equivalent, Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Minimum 5 years of relevant telecom experience required
- Demonstrated self- management competencies, as this position is 100% remote
- Strong relationship building skills
- Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities
- Strong time management skills
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and follow-up
- Excellent organizational skills
- Problem-resolution skills
- Proficient in MS Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Experience with Salesforce a plus
