Training

Coordinator to join our Job Skills Training department. As our Training Coordinator, you will play a key role in helping our Company be successful since you will provide the training to associates they need to be the best at their jobs. You'll have the chance to become a subject matter expert on various facets of production operations which will help put you in a great position for career advancement opportunities.

Provide hands-on, one-on-one, and/or group skills training, certification, and re-certification on a variety of topics, including new equipment introduction, equipment operations, and operational processes and procedures. Receive direction on scheduled training activities, independently coordinate and conduct training. Serve as a post-training mentor to help foster a continuous learning environment and provide guidance and counsel on employee training issues.

Responsibilities:

  • 2nd Shift: Monday - Friday3:30 pm– 12 am
  • Interacting with associates to help us promote an atmosphere that supports and develops high collaboration and strong work ethics.
  • Conducting training needs assessments, inventorying associate skills and figuring out appropriate training solutions.
  • Evaluating and reporting associates’ training progress through observation, demonstrated learning, testing, documented certification processes, etc. and logging these activities to record the training status of associates.
  • Periodically reviewing current training tasks and procedures and creating and documenting new ones for any equipment when needed.
  • Attending internal and/or external training to improve training skills and subject matter knowledge (e.g., facilitation skills, adult learning knowledge, evaluation skills).
  • Generating training reports for management and/or department (e.g., statistical reporting, certification reporting, procedure task reports, etc.).

Skillset:

  • A willingness to learn new processes and equipment in all production areas and to work with SME's or vendors to learn and document training tasks.
  • Excellent follow up and oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational ability and the capacity to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment while maintaining composure.
  • A demonstrated ability to interpret and work with training and/or technical documents.
  • An eagerness to work in a diverse group environment with various personality types to get the work done; you relate to people well and show respect and consideration for others.
  • Able to perform the tasks of the position with reasonable accommodation.

Qualifications:

  • MPS high-speed single operator certification and 1+ year of Broadridge Customer Communications factory experience. Other InFact equipment certification and experience such as ML/HT and/or MSE is ideal.
  • You're able to operate a computer and be literate in using application software such as Windows, Outlook, Excel, and Word.
  • You'll be flexible for overtime as required and able to consistently work the early week night shift.
