Hiring Intern/Assistant to the Director of a Digital Agency (Austin)

We are a boutique video, photo & animation agency in central Austin. We are looking for an intern/assistant to work closely with the director to help out with various small tasks until the end of the year. The duties are split between production and personal-oriented tasks for the director. Please be willing to do both. Although this is not a creative role, you will be surrounded by our creative processes, so it could be a good entry-level job for someone interested in getting into the video or photo world.
INTERN/ASSISTANT POSITION
Part-Time, 1099 Contract Position. No benefits included.
$20/hour + mileage
20-30 hours/week, very flexible schedule
4-month contract, with opportunity to renew at the end of 4-months
PRODUCTION DUTIES
- Assisting with casting
- Assisting with location scouting
- Sourcing props
- Getting releases signed
- Ordering and grabbing food or coffee
PERSONAL DUTIES
- Making appointments
- Dropping off packages to ship
- Car assisting: dropping off car for oil change, tire rotations, wash
- Grabbing food/coffee
- General errands
- General research for decision making
REQUIREMENTS
Must have your own car and valid drivers license
Must have your own computer
Must have an iPhone in order to communicate with iMessage and Notes on your phone
Must be legally allowed to work in the United States
