The Collection Station Attendant monitors/weighs all incoming trucks, handles all money transactions and appropriate paperwork, maintains gatehouse and provides professional and courteous customer service.

Report to work at designated times in proper company uniform and with required personal protective equipment;

Monitor and weigh-in all incoming trucks;

Monitor radio communications for coworkers on tipping floor;

Process all paperwork and money transactions promptly, efficiently and accurately;

Maintain a clean, orderly gatehouse;

Maintain the trailer weight Excel spreadsheet to ensure trailers are loaded to the optimal weight and the facility daily volume is accurately recorded for the site operating plan (SOP);

Issue household hazardous waste vouchers to residential customers;

E-mail a full trailer inventory to Central Dispatch and the Facility Manager at the end of each shift;

Report damaged inbound and outbound trailers facility to operators;

Administers customer surveys as requested by Management;

Reports any possible SOP violations to the Facility Manager;

Complete and submit the waste screening forms;

Maintain professional and courteous demeanor with all customers; and

Other duties as assigned

High school diploma or its equivalent;

Available to work scheduled shifts, including nights, holidays and weekends.

Ability to complete the TCEQ MSW screening course 0341;

Problem-solving skills

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and procedures, operating instructions, procedure manuals, and other paperwork used in operations;

Basic math ability;

Verbal and written fluency in English.
