Job Description
Custom ApplicatorThis position is responsible for the application of crop nutrients and crop protection products and the maintenance of custom application vehicles and equipment.
Job DutiesCapability to use math skills to calculate chemical mixes per blend sheet specifications and proper calibration of fertilizer and spraying equipment. Operate, service, and maintain all types of custom application equipment. Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with customers, employees, supervisors and suppliers. Assist with daily operations at locations which may include receiving, loading and delivering products along with treating seed.Basic QualificationsHigh school diploma or general education degree. Post-secondary schooling desirable. Experience may be substituted for education. Possess or ability to obtain a Class A CDL with Hazmat & Tanker Endorsement. Ability to lift 60 lbs, handle exposure to weather conditions and work extended seasonal hours. Possess or ability to obtain Commercial Pesticide Applicator Certification. Previous experience operating and servicing farm machinery. Farming background or experience with application of crop protection products preferred.Preferred Qualifications- Farming background

Pay: $45,000 - $55,000 + Benefits

Qualifications
Requirements:
Experience running a self-propelled sprayer
Class A or B CDL
Custom Applicator License
