First National Bank Alaska, FNBA, is currently seeking a Full-Time Teller I for our Kodiak Branch. We need energetic and outgoing applicants, with terrific customer service and cash handling skills. The teller position processes routine customer transactions adhering to established cash limits and ensuring compliance with established bank procedures and regulatory requirements.

This frontline position interacts with our customers to process routine transactions. Must be available Monday-Friday from 8:30AM - 5:30PM, as well as Saturdays from 10AM - 2PM.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Provides excellent service to branch customers; processes routine paying and receiving transactions, operates Teller Machines, and balances cash drawer.

2. Processes Automated Teller Machine, mail, and night depository transactions.

3. Analyzes checks and deposits for transaction anomalies and performs regulatory reporting as required.

4. Explains, promotes, and sells basic products and services, and refers customers to other appropriate areas of the bank for additional expertise.

5. Performs other work-related duties as assigned by supervisor.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

Minimum: Six months cash handling or customer service experience, or equivalent combination of education/training and experience.

Preferred: Prior Teller experience.
