Medical Assistant

We are looking for part time and full time Medical assistants. The medical assistants are responsible for administrative tasks as well as clinical duties. The administrative tasks include filling out insurance information, updating patients' records, setting up laboratory tests and handling patient admission. They also schedule appointments, answer telephones and greet patients. Our medical assistant's duties include taking patients' medical history, preparing each patient for exams, checking vital signs, informing patients of treatment procedures and occasionally performing lab tests. Our MA requirement also includes drawing blood, removing sutures, changing dressings, administering medications and authorizing prescription refills, all under the direct supervision of a physician.
