Wood Preparation & Finishing Technician (Stevensville)

Our team of talented Craftspeople and Artisans create beautiful products that are handmade in the USA and sold to top interior designers throughout the world. We are currently seeking Artisans to join our furniture finishing team!

We are looking for beginners who want to grow into experienced career Artisans. Start as a Junior Artisan, learning the ins and outs of sanding, wire-brushing, hand-scraping, wire-wheeling, assembly and labeling furniture. While there is plenty of room for career advancement, sanding with an orbital sander and sandpaper is a large part of the position we are hiring for. Our training program combined with your ambition, hard work, and desire to excel may lead to long-term career opportunities as a Senior Artisan.Please see the list of desired skills below:

Orbital and hand sanding

Hand scraping

Wire brushing

Drilling for hardware

Disassembly and labeling of partsAll applicants must have these abilities and skills to be successful:

Attention to detail

Responsible, self-motivated, and reliable

Have a good attitude and positive vibes

Ability to work as a team player in a fast-paced environment

Ability to lift up to 100 lbs. without assistance on a regular basis, and heavier items with the help of others

Available to work FULL-TIME 7am - 3:45pm Monday thru Friday (minimum of 40 hours/week). Our Artisans enjoy getting off work at 3:45!

Available to work occasional overtime as needed on weekdays and/or weekendsBenefits available upon eligibility:
