Job Description

Due to the continuing success of Eurofins Clinical Diagnostics UK, an exciting new opportunity has been created for a Territory Account Manager. The successful candidate’s primary responsibility is to develop sales strategies and contribute to retention, growth and acquisition of revenue for the Eurofins Clinical Diagnostics UK business.

Please note that the working hours for this role are as follows: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 09.00 – 17.00 but may be subject to change depending on needs of the business and may include extra hours and weekends.

This role will require travel covering east midlands, Northern England, East Angliaand Scotland. However, focus will be on East Midlands, East Anglia (including Cambridge) & Northern England. The successful candidate will need to be based in a suitablelocation to cover these locations.

  • Effectively develop and lead pathology sales function for all business areas in Northern England, Scotland and East Anglia regions;
  • Actively contribute to the development of strategic sales and marketing plans;
  • Provide the necessary planning, organization, direction, and control to meet and exceed the sales goals of the territory;
  • Actively maintain and expand pathology market knowledge and formulate plans of how best to implement enhanced best practice into the UK market;
  • Effectively monitor market developments and competitor activity in order to grow Eurofins Clinical Diagnostics UK market position;
  • Build and maintain excellent relationships with clients in healthcare, procurement and other professions relevant to our business within UK;
  • Achieve sales targets with profitable results by developing the offering to clients via motivation, counselling and service knowledge development;
  • Identify areas of growth for UK market and activate a plan to transform these into hard sales
  • Build strong relationships with key laboratories to become choice partner for referred testing;
  • Effectively manage your functionality, operational performance reporting, prospecting, streamlining processes and systems wherever possible;
  • Professionally promote the company’s services and products throughout the UK.

Qualifications

  • Clinical Diagnostic sales knowledge
  • Comfortable with multiple sales channels
  • A strong understanding of the NHS and Private Sector Pathology market
  • Familiarity with ISO 15189, NICE and GMP practices;
  • Responsive, problem solving and action oriented mindset;
  • Strong computer, scientific, and organisational skills;
  • Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail; excellent interpersonal, presentation, and organizational skills;
  • A flexible approach to work in order to adapt to change;
  • Ability to work as part of a team, self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude;
  • Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies.
