Cleaner/Janitor (Wakefield)

Job Description

DCS Service Inc. is a privately owned, family operated janitorial company that provides custom janitorial services. We are currently looking for an experienced Janitor/Cleaner to provide janitorial services at our client’s facility. Responsibilities include general cleaning duties such sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, cleaning windows, restroom cleaning and any other duties associated with janitorial services in a commercial office building setting.

Principle duties of special service / cleaner:

Comply with all company and building safety rules, policies, and procedures

Maintain clean facility to customer’s satisfaction

Take direction and respond to supervision

Converse and work with lead, supervisor, co-workers, managers and customers in a professional manner; present a professional appearance and conduct

Knowledge of chemicals & equipment; use proper protective equipment, where applicable

Respond to emergency calls, if applicable

Understand customer service and satisfaction

Qualifications

2+ years prior experience or training required in janitorial industry

Strong work ethic and customer service skills

Must be bilingual English

The ability to work independently or together as a team player
