Assembler

Position Title: Assembler

Wage: $11/hour

Shift: 1st, 2nd

Hours: 8am-4:30pm, 4:30pm-12:30am

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Always maintain professionalism, tact, diplomacy, and sensitivity to portray the company in a positive manner

- Work as part of a team operating various machines to move, fabricate, prep or clean materials

- Comply with safety, quality, and productivity requirements and procedures

- Prepare work to be accomplished by reviewing production orders and parts lists; gathering parts, and materials

- Position parts and subassemblies by using templates or reading measurements

- Assemble components by examining connections for correct fit, fastening parts and subassemblies

- Verify specifications by measuring component to ensure perfect fit

- Report assembly or equipment issues to Departmental Supervisor

- Keep equipment operational by completing preventative maintenance requirement

- Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations

- Conserve resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results

- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

- Read and comprehend instructions and follow established procedures

- Inspect final product and prepare for shipment

Requirements:

- Basic math skills

- Ability to adapt to change

- High attention to detail and accuracy

- Ability to read tape measure, caliper, and production orders

- Strong communication skills and ability to work well with others

- Able to lift up to 60 pounds occasionally

- Able to handle hand tools and equipment

- Able to see well enough for production details and hear well enough to communicate with team members

- Able to walk, stoop, kneel and pick up product, materials, and finished product and move around
