Busy, leading supplier of personal care products is looking to add an additional team member to our Order Processing and Administration office. This position includes handling all aspects of a customer’s orders from receipt to shipment.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ensure on-time shipment of customer orders
Generate documents to process orders for assigned customers (i.e., packing lists, bills of lading, labels, etc.)
Identify shortages and provide shipment details to customers (including weights, cases, pallet counts and other information) for orders as needed
Schedule carriers and transportation
Send Advance Shipment Notices (ASN) to customers where required
Communicate with various departments (warehouse, operations, sales and others) regarding the information related to orders/shipments
REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role
High school diploma required; additional course work or degree preferred
Proficient Microsoft skills, especially Excel
Accurate, detailed data entry
Good communication skills, verbal and written
Great work ethic
Positive attitude
