Production Assembly

Kelly Services needs 2 full-time FINAL ASSEMBLERS in Milwaukie, OR. The hiring company is internationally known and is the world’s largest handheld hydraulic tool manufacturer.Position : AssemblerLocation : Milwaukie, ORRate of Pay : $17 $19/hr (dependent upon experience)Shift: Monday – Friday – 1st shiftDuration : Temp-to-Hire (company offers benefits, PTO, and 401k match upon hire)The FINAL ASSEMBLER is responsible for the final assembly of tools and sub-assemblies of hydraulic tools.Duties :

Assemble tools and sub-assemblies of hydraulic tools

Perform testing and occasional troubleshooting of assemblies

Perform cross-functional tasks when necessary (shipping, receiving, machinist helper activities, etc.)

Adhere to 5S practices. Keep work area organized including clean up during and at the end of the shift

Must adhere to all safety programs including use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

Must be able to work with limited supervision

Any other tasks as assigned by supervisor

Requirements :

Knowledge of proper use of hand tools

Ability to understand and follow written and oral procedures

Positive attitude, teamwork, and willingness to assist where needed

Must demonstrate the energy level, ability to learn, and attention to detail required to be effective

Must have high school diploma or equivalent.

Must be able to stand / bend / lift / stoop / reach for duration of shift

Must be able to lift up to 50lbs comfortably
