Job Description

A clinically competent, registered, professional nurse who prescribes, delegates and coordinates nursing care to the hospitalized patient through the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation and evaluation. Effectively interacts with patient, significant others, and other health team members, while maintaining ANA standards of professional nursing practice. This nurse functions in a leadership, overseeing daily unit operations, staff, and care delivery, utilizing a staff focused leadership model. #INDW AA/EOE

Qualifications

Requirements: General: Recent hospital experience and/or previous nursing practice experience preferred; Minimum: 3 years; Preferred: At least two year's experience in pertinent clinical specialty. Education: Minimum: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. BSN required. Specialty certification within 2.5 years of hire. Licensure: General: Licensed or eligible for licensing in Illinois as a Registered Nurse; Minimum: LIC RN,CERT BLS; Preferred: CERT NRN,ACLS within 90 days of hire
