This program is funded by the state and it is based on a budget established by level of care. Below are some critical components of the Caregiver/Homemaker Position:
o You must pass a background check.
o You must have your own transportation.
o Able to transfer 50+ lbs. (Willing to learn training is available.)
o Able to work alone, nights and as a team.
o (Have reliable child care if needed.)
o Be professional, dependable, reliable and serious towards this caring position.
o Able to work nights and part-time on holidays.
o Do you have any health issues that will impede from working such as back injuries etc.?
o Attendance is critically important and imperative
This is a fast-paced position the objective is to get participant ready for activities of daily living. It consists of personal care, shower and bed bath, transferring, range of motion etc. cleaning home, some transportation and office work. Alternating mornings and mornings/nights schedule.
