Las Cumbres has one full time opening for a Community Based Child Abuse Prevention, Intervention and Reunification Family Navigator. The CBPIR program focuses on providing services to parents and primary/secondary caregivers of children 0-18 years of age to prevent child abuse and neglect. This position works to improve parent-child interaction and health child development in addition to increasing parents and primary/secondary caregivers' knowledge of and ability to meet children's developmental needs.
Key qualities to be successful in this role include: an outgoing personality, great communication and problem solving skills, highly organized and flexible. Must be proficient in data entry, ability to learn databases and must have reliable transportation for home visitations. BA in Social Work or a related Human Services field preferred. Combination of education and experience totaling (6) six years may be considered in lieu of degree. Bilingual preferred. Valid New Mexico's Driver's License. Position located in Santa Fe County.
