We are a rapidly expanding global business, currently seeking a Senior Software Developer to join our global Engineering Team with the main responsibility of creating and improving upon simPRO software programs and products, which will support the overall success and growth of the business.The role:Under the direct supervision of the Software Development Manager, you will develop new greenfield cloud based SaaS software integration projects in agile teams, and conduct quality control functions throughout the life cycle of the software. You will engage in researching, designing, implementing and managing software programs, as well as collaborate with internal departments to ensure proper design and implementation of software products.Essential responsibilities and duties:

Gain core simPRO software and products knowledge in order to best address software needs

Collaborate with engineering team members to determine best practices and customer requirements for software

Research, design, implement and manage core software programs

Write and implement code, then test and evaluate new simPRO programs

Professionally maintain all software and create updates regularly to address customer and company concerns

Troubleshoot, debug, maintain and improve existing software

Develop technical documentation to guide future software development projects

Communicate, share insight and address any additional tasks assigned by the Product Owner, Software Development Manager and CTO

Work & skills requirements:

Bachelor?s degree in Computer Science or related field

5+ years of experience in a software development role

Strong understanding of development, implementation and evaluation of software

Solid experience with application integration solution design and implementation

Proficiency in popular enterprise coding languages such as Python, Go or similar

Excellent knowledge of the software development life cycle

Strong troubleshooting/problem-solving skills

Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Ability to work effectively under pressure and to perform well in a team dynamic

Eagerness and enthusiasm to learn

Must be able to remain in a stationary position up to 50% and move about the office work space up to 50%

Must be able to constantly operate a computer, phone, and other office productivity machinery

Must be able to exchange accurate information in all communication with customers

Helpful for success:

Experience within an AWS environment and microservice architecture a major plus

Understanding and/or prior experience working in the trade services industries

Table tennis skills highly regarded
