Find your future with us.The Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) is seeking a Senior Quality Engineer to join the Autonomous Systems (ATS) group located in Berkeley, MO.Position Responsibilities:Leads integration of contractual and Boeing Quality Management System requirements into all aspects of proposals and program processes and documentation. Provides interpretation of complex requirements.

Develops quality metrics, design and production certification plans for large programs to ensure compliance with contractual, Company and regulatory requirements.

Develops Quality criteria to support supplier selection activities. Leads various reviews to ensure quality attributes are incorporated into product designs.

Develops and selects methods for analysis, testing and audit to ensure manufacturing and test readiness.

Assists in development of new standards repairs for non-conformances.

Analyzes non-conformance trends to evaluate effectiveness of corrective actions. Develops and implements corrective actions.

Performs benchmarking and other forms of advanced analysis to ensure specified processes capability levels are achieved.

Works under minimal direction.

Reviews and approves Quality instructions.

Provides ship-side support for Boeing Defense Space & Security (BDS) Activities.

Supports the development of procedures for Quality operations that are program-specific such as processing escapes, corrective action, and metrics production.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.This position requires an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):Bachelor’s degree in a technical field

3+ years of experience developing/managing metrics in Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA)

1+ year of experience with Quality Management Systems such as AS9100 or similar standards

1+ year of experience developing Quality Metrics and analysis

1+ year of experience supporting airplane development programs

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):Autonomous systems experience

Engineering and Manufacturing Development (EMD) experience

Typical Education & Experience:Bachelor's degree and typically 9 or more years' experience in an engineering classification or a Master's degree with typically 7 or more years' experience in an engineering classification or a PhD degree with typically 4 or more years' experience in an engineering classification.Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry.
