This highly visible, newly created position is a key role within the Financial Planning & Analysis team reporting to Deputy Financial Controller for eFinancial division. The successful candidate will have finance and accounting experience, results driven and have the ability to help lead financial reporting and variance analysis for senior leadership as well as drive budgeting and forecasting efforts of the company.

Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports and perform variance analysis to inform senior leadership of key drivers behind the results.

Collaborate with business leaders to develop both short-term and long-term financial forecasts and oversee the annual budgeting process.

Lead various projects and ad-hoc reporting requests.

Participate in accounting close process, lead and/or act as liaison between business and finance/accounting operations teams. Access information maintained in various financial systems and databases to analyze, prepare, and report on variance analysis.

Analyze complex financial information in accordance with accounting principles to identify trends and variances, and prepare high quality financial reports

Serve as subject matter expert and provide guidance to the team on various financial and business matters.

Lead cost/benefit analysis for upcoming business projects.

Monitor and analyze department work to implement more efficient and effective procedures and use of resources while maintaining a high level of accuracy.

Conduct account reconciliations and analyze accounting activity to ensure completeness and accuracy

Participate in change initiatives related to company financial systems, including daily maintenance and operations

Prepare complex reports and requests to support both internal and external audits

Collaborate within the Accounting team, Finance team, and across the company to accomplish team goals, resolve issues, and enhance and improve processes

Assist with projects related to the optimization of reporting procedures and ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley control requirements

Strong analytical and problem solving skills.

Solid knowledge of GAAP and statutory accounting principles.

Ability to handle several tasks simultaneously and to work under tight deadlines.

Ability to work effectively across functions and organizational levels and within team environment.

Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills with proven ability to effectively interact with senior leadership across the company.

Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, accounting systems and applications, and other business related software systems.

Financials modeling skills, understanding trends, developing insights and preparing recommendations

Comprehensive understanding of finance functions, including operations, accounting, processes, risks and controls

Prior experience with process improvement and automation preferred

Education/Experience:

Bachelor's Degree in accounting, finance, or related business field.

Five or more years of financial reporting and analysis experience.
