You will lead business development efforts for Intelligence, Reconnaissance and Surveillance (ISR) to secure new or re-compete contracts, or task order business within GDIT's Joint/Air Force/Coalition Sector. You will develop capture strategy including business solutions for pursuit of opportunities; identify potential customers, competitive assessments, teaming suppliers, and prices-to-win, and participate in bid and proposal activities.You will be responsible for managing all aspects of account growth and strategy development, new business development, and customer relationship management across all levels within assigned ISR account to include Air Force MAJCOMs and PEO ISR. Lead, develop, and execute an account growth strategy in coordination with Business Unit leadership
Lead the identification of new business opportunities that support the account plan, Business Area growth goals, and submit targets throughout the opportunity life cycle
Develop, maintain, and update the pipeline of new opportunities for assigned Group or market segment
Maintain a pipeline between $5-9B
Execute call plans to collect information for particular opportunities. In collaboration with technical staff, propose and test potential solutions and qualify opportunities
Prepare for and present opportunities for bid decisions and pipeline reviews
Lead the early development of win strategies during Identification phase, prior to assignment of a Capture Manager
Meet with customers to understand the customer territory—relative to portfolio of deals
Throughout opportunity life cycle, provide insight from the customer point of view
Maintain on-going interaction with the Defense marketing team.
Develop broad customer and partner relationships and regular travel to customer sites
Required Qualifications:· Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, technology, or related discipline; PLUS 10+ yrs of business development or other relevant experience within DoD and/or Air Force· In lieu of Bachelor's degree, combination of work experience, education, or training is required· Able to obtain and maintain Secret clearance· Must be able to travel up to 20% of the timeDesired Qualifications· Secret or Top Secret/SCI clearance preferred· Master's degree preferred· USAF Air Staff ISR experience preferrednullWe are GDIT.
