The role will seek to understand and inventory all BU capabilities, use data-driven methods to assess their competitiveness/fit for purpose in a defined addressable marketplace, and determine market opportunities to grow each individual service line. The role will work cross-functionally across the service lines and with global to assess competitive situations, analyze offering gaps, and support the recommendation to acquire/develop new offering capabilities.ResponsibilitiesEssential FunctionsOrganize and curate a dynamic centralized master view of all IQVIA service line offerings and capabilitiesSupport the creation data driven approaches to assess individual service line portfolios to determine offering BU contribution.Execute annual cadence to report and assess portfolio gaps, opportunities, and threats to each service line and develop plan/recommendations to address through acquisition or developmentSupport the identification of offering sunset opportunitiesCreate templates to support assessment of investment cases/offering “buy vs. build” decisions; create discovery frameworks for investment opportunities and gap solves.Assist and analyze optimal packaging cross-functional offerings based on current/future addressable marketplace opportunitiesExecute and administrate regular meetings or portfolio optimization community cross service-line to ensure ongoing collaboration and service line alignmentAssist in the development, maintenance, and analysis of strategic key performance indicators (KPI) to objectively enable appropriate product optimization business decisions and functional performanceCreate and support executive views in support of portfolio optimization recommendationsConduct cross-service line workshops to develop solves to generate ideas for specific service-line optimizationAdministrate and execute cadence to create senior level strategy recommendations for the maintenance of portfolio healthAdministrate projects related to portfolio optimization and additional key strategic projects as requiredSupport the identification of gaps in the portfolio optimization process and work with supervisor to address process gaps that increase efficiencies and grow functionMINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCETo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
