Web Developer, Senior

Position DescriptionWhat does and Exceptional Web Developer Senior do?We are a rapidly growing and highly capable product engineering team building applications that transform the way merchants run and manage their business. As a Web Developer, Senior, you will play a critical role in producing well designed, testable, efficient code to support our Clover product. With Clover, these businesses can run thousands of transactions, access reports on a dashboard remotely and handle their inventory through a single solution. The Clover product replaces cash registers, terminals, receipt printers, label printers and barcode scanners.Essential Job Responsibilities

Works closely with in-house web designers and product owners in the financial services industry to develop, implement, and maintain custom designed web-based applications supporting our customer service team and Clover’s reseller network.

Responsible for designing and maintaining web-based applications using HTML/XHTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, and other programming tools.

Proven experience in developing responsive, reliableweb applications.

Builds enhancements to web applications based upon customer needs, fixes and repairs display or functionality issues, and ensures applications are accessible from a variety of different browser environments.

Performs end user testing to ensure the user experience is consistent in all supported web browsers.

Plays a key role in ensuring that all sites are coded accurately and deployed on time.

Ability to meet deadlines, handle multiple projects, and work well in a team environment is a requirement.

Performs other duties as required.

Provide feedback on planned product release and ensure the planned features for the current release are taken on respecting technical dependencies.

Assist in identifying and implementing designs and usability practices that help increase customer productivity and happiness.

Review user interface designs and changes made to the product.

Basic Qualifications for Consideration:

Minimum 3 years Web development responsive, reliable web applications.

Advanced knowledge Web development and JavaScript including frameworks such as React, Ember, Angular, and jQuery

Authoritative level experience in HTML5 and CSS.

Proficient in knowledge of advanced JavaScript libraries and frameworks and jQuery.

Proficient understanding of code versioning tools.

Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them.

Strong written and verbal interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and as a team member.
