Production-Maintenance Coordinator (PMC)Chemours is seeking a Production-Maintenance Coordinator to join our growing Production team! This position will report directly to the Operations Manager in our Deepwater, NJ location.The primary responsibility of this role is the tactical and transaction tasks of creating a maintenance schedule for all assets assigned. This role will work hand in hand with Maintenance and Production to align on the specific steps needed to execute the developed maintenance schedule as well as the specific maintenance work. This role covers a broad range of responsibilities including maintenance schedule development with input from the Production Leader, field review of the work in preparation for scheduling, daily production and maintenance support to remove barriers and resolution of issues, and SAP transaction work to ensure accurate documentation of steps and costs associated with the work performed by Maintenance. This role will also help drive turnaround work with the support of the Maintenance and Reliability resources. This position will work closely with the Production Leader, Manufacturing Technology, Quality, and Production Supervisor to ensure planning and execution of maintenance work is performed in the desired maintenance window.The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:

Aligns on schedule of maintenance work with Production Leader (ready to plan and ready to schedule work in SAP)

Aligns on scope of maintenance work with Maintenance Supervisor and Planner

Gains decision from Maintenance on work to be resourced internally or externally

Provides proposed schedule for regulatory inspection, test, and restoration work as defined for the asset(s) – Preventive Maintenance work

Determines and communicate maintenance activities to production organization to ensure proper preparedness (rate reduction, decontamination, lockout, etc.) – ensure alignment with Production Supervisor targets for week

Verify equipment readiness before deployment of maintenance resources on day of scheduled work execution

Validate acceptable completion of all steps of maintenance/engineering activities.

Aligns on schedule breaks with Production Supervisor and communicates impacts to scheduled work that will be moved outside of current week’s schedule (for rescheduling with Production Leader)

Coordinates Plan and Schedule business unit turnarounds or shutdown work with Maintenance and Reliability resources

In order to be qualified for this role, you /must possess/ the following:

Associates degree with minimum 1 years’ experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment OR minimum 5 years’ operations experience

Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office specifically

Work hour flexibility to support a 24 x 7 operation

Must have strong interpersonal, communication, organizational and leadership skills to allow productive collaborative relationships with all levels of organization.

Knowledge of Process Safety Management in High Hazard Process/Low Hazard Operations

The following skill sets are /preferred/ by the business unit:

Strong knowledge of SAP/R3 modules and Prometheus

Experience with Lean manufacturing principles

Demonstrated understanding of safety procedures and corporate safety standards

Demonstrated ability to effectively influence others to achieve desired results
