DoD Secret - Logistics/Provisioning

Job Description

Enhances product workflow by analyzing and developing logistics plans that affect production, distribution, and inventory. Creates and reviews procedures for distribution and inventory management to maximize customer satisfaction and minimize cost. May require an associate's degree or equivalent and 0-2 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Works under immediate supervision. Primary job functions do not typically require exercising independent judgment. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager.

Must have knowledge and understanding of U.S. Army Logistics Provisioning functions using U.S. Army practices and guidelines.Be proficient with PowerLog J reporting. Experience with the logistics and provisioning of U.S. Army equipment and have an understanding of reports due. LSA 036/LSA 009. Understands and able to read technical drawings of vehicles and equipment.

Bachelors Degree with a minimum of 2 years related experience

In lieu of formal education, 10 years of experience in the Logistics/Provisioning field, preferably U.S. Army.

U.S. Army Provisioning with extensive background of U.S Army logistics and provisioning

Interim Secret clearance is required prior to start of work.Candidates must be a U.S. Citizen and be able to obtain a Common Access Card (CAC)
