Medical Billing AR Specialist / Payment poster (Allison Park)

Small growing business is looking to hire 2 people. Before I get into the positions here is some information about the location and work environment. The right person will be someone that can work in a small office with minimal supervision. We are located on the 2nd floor of an office building with no elevator. You can have a flexible schedule. All positions start with 2 weeks of PTO and paid holidays. At this time our company does not offer medical benefits. Our building has free parking but we are not on a bus line so proper transportation is a must.

Position 1:

Payment Poster- This is a part time position with approx 20-30 hours per week. This position is an office based position. Our office is in zip code 15101.

Job Duties:

Assist in hand keying EOBs into our billing software.

Complete enrollments with health plans to have ERAs sent

Qualifications:

Must have a strong understanding on how to read an EOB

experience of 1 to 2 years is required

Pay is $14 per hour

Position 2:

AR- This position can be full time or part time depending on your needs. We may be hiring multiple people for this position as our company is growing rapidly. This position is for correcting and re sending denied claims. Familiarity with denial codes and all types of insurance's are a requirement. The claims can be anything from an office visit to a complicated surgery. This position requires at least 1 year of experience in the AR side of medical billing. Once you are fully trained and after 60 days you will have the option to work from home or work out of our office. The pay for this position is $16 per hour.
