Perdue Farms Process Technician FULL-TIME $13.75/hr 2047 Highway 9 West, Dillon, SC 29536 Starting hourly wage is $13.00/hour with the opportunity to go up to and $13.75/hour after the 60-day probationary period. Maintaining, servicing and performing repairs on equipment in order to ensure proper operation of production equipment and electrical systems. Duties include: - Reading, interpreting and understanding manufacturers' equipment manuals, preventative (PM) task sheets and safety policies. - Performing equipment adjustments and repairs, preventative maintenance and emergency breakdowns. - Performing specific duties during both production and non-production hours in a timely manner with OSHA Lockout/Tagout and Company safety regulations. - Monitoring performance of equipment and informs maintenance and production supervisors of potential problems. - Maintaining log books by applying math skills through the equipment PM stages in order to calibrate machinery to performance standards. - Providing "hands on" training and direction to lower level mechanics and techs in properly servicing, repairing and maintaining the equipment operated by the company.Schedule - Shift start: 4:30AM or 7:30AM or 8:00PM or 11:00PM - Shift length: 6 - 9 hours - Days: 1st shift is Monday - Friday, 3rd shift is Sunday - ThursdayBenefits - Health, dental, vision insurance available after 60 days - Paid time off - 401kRequirements - At least 2 years experience of industrial maintenance. - Must have all personal tools at all times and be able to use and operate hand tools and industrial shop equipment. - Must be at least 18+ years old - Must pass drug screen - Must pass background check - Can lift 20 lbsAbout Perdue Farms Perdue Farms is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for everyone they touch through innovative food and agricultural products.
