New Horizons Woodworks is a rapidly growing custom cabinet and architectural woodworking company that specializes in large commercial projects such as medical facilities and schools. We have an immediate opening for an Architectural Millwork Project Manager.
Position Responsibilities:
Manages multiple architectural casework projects
Oversees job budgets, orders materials, coordinates with multiple subcontractors
Analyzes job requirements, defines scope of work, sets project timelines for submittals, production, and installation
Drafts highly detailed shop drawings using AutoCAD
Processes production engineering packages using Microvellum, which will include engineering cabinets and architectural millwork based on field dimensions, conducting materials takeoff, processing cut lists, customizing labels and reports
Communicates clearly to coworkers and customers about project details
Conducts accurate field measurements at active construction sites
Basic Qualifications:
2+ years of commercial cabinetry industry experience
Extensive knowledge of casework/millwork fabrication methods
Experience managing and coordinating projects
Drafting experience with AutoCAD
Good verbal and written communication skills
Positive attitude and good teamwork skills
Fluency in Microsoft Office tools, Adobe Acrobat
Must be able to travel to our Ashland based office on a daily basis, must have valid driver’s license
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Microvellum, WoodWOP, or other cabinet cut list software
Experience with managing custom-grade architectural casework projects
Experience with engineering complex architectural millwork fixtures
2+ years of project management experience
Experience with AWI/WI standards
