Position: Mechanical Drafter
Location: Clackamas, OR
Pay: $28 – 30 DOE
Who We Are:
Thriving local metal and steel processor company that specializes in concrete pipe forms, structural profiles, and custom fabrication. Is looking to add an experienced AutoCAD Inventor Detailer to their team!
What You'll Do:
Ability to read and interpret documents, technical manuals, and engineering concepts. Ability to work with MS Office, particularly Excel. The ideal candidate for this role must be able to start right away, be self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision while consulting with the team on design direction.
What You Need to Have:
- Autodesk Inventor Qualifications:
Advanced part and assembly modeling using derived parts, multi-body parts, and skeletal modeling.
Understanding of sheet metal parts including forming, rolling, and flat layouts without doubled lines.
Utilization of surfaces
Basic Understanding of iLogic
Understanding of levels of detail, position, and view representations
Experience Creating parameter-driven adaptable models
Experience creating thorough layouts, understand what views, sections and details will clearly relay the model information to the fabrication department
AutoCAD experience is a MUST!
- AutoCAD Requirements:
Ability to create and utilize standard and dynamic blocks to create concept drawings
Ability to accurately do material take-offs and create dxfs from customer prints and sketches.
Autodesk Inventor Experience is a MUST!
Clean and accurate line work is a MUST.
