Project Manager – Process ImprovementWork Location:Fully Remote - U.S.
Position The Project Manager will interact with stakeholders from multiple business areas and senior leadership. The incumbent’s primary responsibilities will be to proactively identify and quantify opportunities for process and quality improvement and to manage and implement midsize to large projects through all phases of the project life cycle. The Project Manager will provide project management leadership across the Clinical Review (CR) and Member Engagement (ME)teams in the Government Services department within the Software & Analytics Business Unit. The Project Manager will have a high degree of autonomy and to effectively demonstrate leadership within cross-functional work groups. Core Responsibilities:Identify and quantify new opportunities aimed at optimizing organizational processes, improving quality, or increasing operational capacity
Assist in the development of business cases for new initiatives
Drive the implementation of medium to large projects
Partner with various stakeholders and internal and external counterparts to gather and document IT and functional requirements
Manage the day-to-day details of projects, including the plan, schedule, resources, scope, budget, and risks to ensure completion of deliverables
Provide leadership to multi-disciplinary project teams, as well as manage work of outside consultants and third-party vendors
Calculate and monitor costs, benefits, and ROI targets
Generate and deliver metrics, analyses, and reports, demonstrating project progress, and the value of ongoing initiatives or operational solutions
Collaborate with the Senior Manager, Project Management to enhance policies, procedures, methodologies, and workflows.
Support miscellaneous tasks, initiatives, and duties, as assigned
Requirements:Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Economics, Statistics, Public Health, Industrial Engineering, or related field
6 years of experience in project management or process improvement, in a Business Analyst, Project Manager, Implementation Manager, or similar role, preferably in healthcare-related industry
Experience managing projects of medium to large scope
Experience working with numbers, including calculating costs, benefits, and ROI, and make data-driven conclusions
Experience managing C-Suite relationships and project teams
Preferred Qualifications:Master’s degree
Solid understanding of Project Management practices and tools
Lean Six Sigma experience
Knowledge of Healthcare
Self-starter, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with minimum guidance
Excellent organizational skills
Working conditions/Physical Requirements: General office demands
