Senior QA Tester ( Gaming Experience Required ) (boulder)

Volt Workforce Solutions is seeking candidates for "QA Tester" role for a potential Contract to Hire role. This role is with our client from Gaming Industry. This position will be remote till end of this year, but later candidates will be required to work from office in Boulder, Colorado.Responsibilities: Assist DPM ( Deployment Project Manager )in preparing submission assets for Apple app reviewMaintain Apple and Google Play submission portalsLearn the basics of Scopely localization processes and tools to be able to assist occasionally when neededRespond to one-off testing queries, acting as a liaison and communicator for our external QA testing team for these specific requestsBe the knowledge expert of product and toolsWork closely with the project engineering team for ad hoc requests testing requests, demonstrating advanced testing techniques for testing and regression of productGenerate daily status reports for Internal QA team, communicating status of testing and escalating risks and blockers to key stakeholders on behalf of the Internal QA teamAssist in maintenance of test case creation and regular test suite reviewsManage bug triages, surfacing critical and blocker issues logged by QA and maintain issue backlogInstill QA best testing practices across the team, increasing quality level of issue reporting through advanced reporting techniques including crash logs, server logs, video, and screen captureLeverage Dashboards to monitor issue statuses throughout the testing lifecycleRequirements:Degree level education or equivalent experience.Minimum 4 years of QA experience.3 years of experience working in mobile QA.Advanced level knowledge using JIRA - especially with regards to dashboard management and database querying using JQLUnderstanding of Jenkins and executing continuous build generationProven ability to own, build and iterate functions and processes.Willingness to work odd hours and be on-call when necessaryExperience working in a development environment and managing relationships with both internal and external cross functional teams.Experience building functional test plans.Ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner both written and verbally.Proactively identify risks, changes needed and execute solutions, with appropriate sense of urgency.Passion for mobile games and experience working on games as a live service.Exceptional attention to detail.Bonus: Experience using TestRail and/or Zephyr for JIRA, Charles, XCode, New RelicVolt is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
