Full-time Front Desk Administrator/ Part-time Hygienist

We are looking for highly reliable, dedicated and professional individuals (at least some dental experience preferred, but willing to train the right person), the prospective candidate must have a strong work ethic, excellent communication and computer skills, possess a positive personal attitude, high enthusiasm, impeccable organizational skills, and have the ability to multitask. Must be able to build and maintain positive and professional relationships with patients. Candidate must be willing to learn and be part of a growing team.

Professional Skills Required:

Some dental knowledge, insurance and terminology is required

Experience with Dentrix software and dental assisting is a plus

Excellent verbal skills are essential and bi-lingual in English/Spanish is a plus

Witty and quick thinker who has the ability to easily adapt, adjust, and effectively relate to people

Ability to work independently and with a teamwork approach to everyday tasks with good follow-through

Takes initiative and has the motivation and willingness to learn new tasks

Pays very close attention to detail

Represents self-confidence and is comfortable discussing financials with patients

Flexible work hours required- one late evening per week and one Saturday per month

Can quickly adapt to changes in office as needed

Part-time Hygienist

We are seeking an experienced dental hygienist but are willing to train the right new graduate.

Must be able to build and maintain positive and professional relationships with patients. You must be passionate about contributing to the patient's success by providing high quality, comprehensive oral hygiene care, treatment and education. Candidate must be willing to learn and be part of a growing team.

Qualifications Required:

Certification from accredited dental hygiene school and passed required regional or state licensing board examinations

Current Hygiene license issued by State of Virginia

Excellent interpersonal skills

Good manual dexterity

Ability to work well independently and with others in a fast-paced environment

Strong organizational skills

Compassionate and caring chairside manner

Works with digital x-rays and Dentrix (X-ray certified)
