Applications EngineerPay: $30+/hourFull benefits, PTO, 401(K)Hybrid Remote Role - Work from home & Travel to Columbus, IN as needed for meetings 2x weeklyPreference to candidates from IN, OH, KY areas or able to relocate to Columbus, IN areaVOLT is working with a well-known automotive parts manufacturer. As the Applications Engineer you will:

  • Work within the Aftertreatment area to perform Internal Quality Audits (IQA) and review the installation requirements
  • Review to ensure the specs are complying with design changes, submit change requests
  • Communicate any changes and look for replacement parts that are needed
To be successful in this role you should have:
  • Education and experience: BSME, BSMET, or BSEE with at least 2 years' experience.
  • Some type of CAD skills (prefer CREO)
  • Design skills knowledge - use the designs to help customers with replacement parts.
  • Good communication skills is a must as you will be working with several clients and several different products.
