We're looking for someone to handle day-to-day transactions as a part of our accounting team and to support our growing company. We're looking for a CPA who will thrive in a growing company, is able to handle competing priorities and a dynamic environment, and who will execute with precision to allow us to scale our current processes as we grow. We are looking for someone who is calm under pressure, efficient, and detail oriented, while still enjoying the uncertainty and ever-changing nature of a high growth company.

You Will:

  • Record and review journal entries and analyze general ledger accounts

  • Support month-end close, including leading some aspects of it

  • Assist with internal control narratives and approval processes around purchases and reimbursements

  • Reconcile cash and other balance sheet transactions

  • Manage fixed asset transactions and inventory. Assist with month- and quarter-close processes

  • Help with preparing reporting packages

  • Assist in all aspects of preparing and reviewing work papers and performing variance analyses

  • Process and oversee vendor payments and employee payroll

  • Reconcile team members' credit card statements and expense reimbursement reports

  • Assist with audit schedule, 1099s, budgeting and general ledger accounting

What We're Looking For

  • 2-5 years of experience, preferably with some in accounting operations

  • Active CPA license or currently taking the CPA exam

  • Experience recording journal entries

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Excellent time management and organizational skills

  • Exceptional attention to detail
