CAP is seeking a Handyman responsible for minor repairs, assisting with janitorial duties, and maintenance of Agency buildings and grounds. A high school diploma/GED and 1-3 years experience in building and grounds maintenance and minor repair required. Assist in minor repairs to facilities and equipment, including, but not limited to plumbing, replacing fluorescent or other lighting, masonry repairs, painting, fixing classroom and office furniture. Assist in maintaining grounds including, but not limited to, snow removal, mowing and trimming lawns, maintaining driveways and sidewalks, shrub removal, sidewalk repair. Assist in janitorial maintenance as assigned at Agency sites and for filling in for Janitor/Cleaner in their absence. Must have reliable transportation and a valid NYS driver's license.This is a full-time, non-exempt position. The pay rate is $14.36/hr., scheduled 40 hrs/wk.
