Qualifications Needed for consideration to be the Rapid Plumbing Service Manager
Most possess a valid Michigan Master Plumber license
Minimum of 5 years of residential and commercial service plumbing experience
Must be experienced in residential and commercial drain cleaning
A valid Michigan Chauffeur driver’s license with a good driving record
A pre-employment background / criminal records check
A physical and drug screen
Good analytical and problem-solving skills
Customer service focus
Excellent communication and listening skills
Responsibilities of the Rapid Plumbing Service Manager:
As a member of the Rapid Plumbing and Drain Service team, some of your responsibilities would be:
Member of the Supervision Team
Teach and training new employees as well as experienced staff
Oversee field activity for quality and proper job performance
Teach and monitor safe work practices and PPE use
Direct communication with customers and office personnel
Supervise large jobs as necessary
Prepare and obtain any necessary permits as needed
Recruit and maintain an adequate plumbing staff in order to meet production goals
Address plumbing customer complaints to an acceptable resolution in a reasonable time frame
Accurately bid larger plumbing jobs in order to maintain profitability
Track and order all ongoing equipment and supplies
Maintain and track shared company tools and equipment
Perform random job site visits and inspections
Hold regular training meetings covering safety, customer service and how-to plumbing
Provide technical support to plumbers as needed

COMPENSATION NOTES:
Annual earnings range from $60,000 to $80,000 based on level of experience
