The Roxy Hotel is looking for an experienced Food & Beverage Floor Manager for Breakfast and Lunch to manage the service of the bar, lounge, room service and the front and back of house. You'll be working the floor a lot, which also has a rock star perk: each night, you'll hear live jazz from some of the industry greats.
Responsibilities include:
Floor presence, ensuring service standards are consistent
Training and evaluating team members in their roles
Conducting effective pre-shifts
Scheduling and payroll
Inventory and purchasing
Building strong rapport with guests
Requirements:
Energetic and detail-oriented with exceptional interpersonal skills
Must be able to work AM & PM shifts and weekend availability
Must have working knowledge of OpenTable and Micros
Excellent written and verbal communication skills along with knowledge of Excel and Word are required
Able to work effectively with all department managers
An interest in style, music, fashion, art, and/or or dining and nightlife (pertaining to NYC)
