Time allocation: 80% engaged in maintenance and repair activities, 20% administrative duties.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:This position is responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

Repair and maintain electrical and mechanical equipment used in production and packaging of chemical products

Perform diagnostics and troubleshooting including PLC and transducer data

Track status of repairs and review summary results with team to streamline PM schedule and spares planning

Submit requisitions for supply of spare parts and specialty repair services using Oracle

Programs and modifies programmable controllers

Obtains quotes for equipment services; directs vendor services; work with Procurement, Quality to add new supplier to approved supplier list

Administers and maintains preventative maintenance records in an FDA regulated environment

Work with site EHS leader to ensure compliance with safety regulations

Timecard approvals, performance appraisals, and coaching of two Maintenance Technicians

Associate degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school

Four to ten years related experience and/or training

Four to ten years of experience with repairing and troubleshooting of electromechanical equipment

Preferred:

Robotics and Automation Technician certification

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.

Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Spreadsheet software, email software and Word Processing software
