Full Charge Bookkeeper

DescriptionAccountemps has an opening for a Bookkeeper with strong accounting capabilities. If this sounds like you, we want to hear from you! The medium size family construction business is offering this temporary-to-full-time Bookkeeper role based in the Spanaway, WA area. Accountemps is looking for an experienced Bookkeeper with excellent communication and organizational skills to join a dynamic, growing company. Don't wait to find out more about this role! If you have experience with A/P, A/R, GL, and financial reporting, then this may be the right Bookkeeper role for you.What you get to do every day:

Organize a structured method to account for financial transactions by establishing a chart of accounts; define bookkeeping policies and procedures

Be responsible for accounts by verifying, allocating, and posting transactions

Balance accounts by reconciling entries

Preside over and review general ledger

Uphold quality historical records by filing documents

Design Accounts Receivable invoices, analyzing payments received, and record deposits

Assemble financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information

Requirements

BS Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration preferred

Previous experience as a Bookkeeper preferred

Prior experience working with collections/accounting software

Solid understanding of QuickBooks

Administrative Assistance experience

Expertise in customer service
