Job DescriptionCACI is seeking a cleared Communication Engineer for CRIC-ES at Lexington Park who leads program/project requirements analysis, design, implementation, testing, integration, verification and maintenance for a broad range of DoD and Intelligence applications.What You’ll Get to Do:

Responsible for designing, developing, analyzing, modeling, testing and simulating communications systems, subsystems, and electronic signals for communication networks, data links, and command and control systems such as wide and local area networks, point-to-point systems, secure systems, signal coding and modulation schema, digital and wireless radio/communications technology and network architecture design.

Conducts analysis such as AoA, feasibility studies, trade studies. Derives communications solutions beyond the design, development, and sustainment of traditional communications/information technology networks.

Participates directly within a cross-disciplinary, government led team to derive solutions and generate system designs for new products. Incumbent will become a local expert in the customers mission and culture, and will represent best solutions available throughout CACI, and/or other solutions in the industry and academia.

Responsible for integrated communications and intelligence systems solutions, including interfaces to the the customer’s mission supported systems including Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML); Processing Exploitation and Dissemination (PED), Cloud and Hybrid Infrastructure Services.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

Active Top Secret and SCI obtainable.

Bachelors Degree in Engineering and 7 years related experience.

Solid understanding of communications engineering principles and system engineering fundamentals.

Technical experience in the successful design, development, integration, test and deployment of communication, radar, and/or Electronic Warfare systems.

Hands on experience and ability to operate test equipment to include spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, oscilloscopes and multi-meters.

Strong analytical, and written and verbal communication skills.

Self-starter that can work with minimum supervision and has good team interaction skills.

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

Active TS/SCI.

Masters Degree in Systems Engineering or Communication Systems

Experience developing components for communication and/or radar systems including antennas, radomes, and/or transmit/receive modules.
