Sr Contract Negotiator

The Senior Contracts Negotiator will be responsible for providing soundcontracts leadership to capture and execution teams across the Raytheon Vision Systems portfolio.The Senior Contracts Negotiatorwill be responsible for managing of all aspects of the contracting process including proposal preparation, fact finding, negotiation, contract administration, and contract closure. This role requires the skill to recognize contractual issues early in program performance, implement solutions, and carry actions through to completion, while exercising good judgment.Required Skills:Minimum of 6 years of professional contracts or related experienceAbility to work within an integrated program team and foster trust with external and internal customersExperience with DoD Prime and SubcontractsWorking knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), and the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations Supplement (DFARS), and equivalent U.S. Government regulationsExperience in change management, requests for equitable adjustments (REAs), engineering change proposals (ECPs), dispute resolution, and negotiationsExperience in various contract types including internal business transactionsAbility to interpret and comply with Company Policies and ProceduresStrong analytical skills, strong interpersonal skills, and excellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to obtain a Secret clearanceUS CitizenDesired Skills:Strong business acumenExperience with competitive pursuitsAbility to problem solve, develop solutions, and support the business leaders in achieving financial and performance goals and objectives.Required Education:BS/BA in Business Administration, Finance, or related emphasisCertified Federal Contracts Manager (CFCM) or equivalent certificationThis position requires a U.S. person or the ability to obtain an Export Authorization from the appropriate government agency for non-U.S. persons.166118Raytheon is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
